My Victorian corset for costuming. Finally! It's not laced NEARLY as tight as normal, cause I had ate a gigantic meal right before putting it on. Like a moron.

I'm pretty happy with it overall, though next time, I think I may actually research the proper fabrics it would have been made of. Pretty much all I did with this one is run through the fabric store and grab the fabric I thought looked prettiest. It'll work fine for steampunk should it turn out wrong for anything else.

It was made to be for a French courtesan. From the "Lady from Maxim's" by Georges Feydeaux (sp?). Very funny play.

Yeah. It was definitely worth it in the end. Though I hope not to ever have to work with nearly as difficult of a fabric again.
